Dems frustrated as House approves $70 billion for wars
The House of Representatives approved another $70 billion in war spending on Wednesday, capping a year of frustration for Democrats who took control of Congress on pledges to end the war in Iraq.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/19/c...war.funds/ Its quite strange to see such a huge amount of money to be approved for war spending. Do you think such money is really required to be spent on wars? |

RE: Dems frustrated as House approves $70 billion for wars
I don't think such money should be spent on war that has no positive outcome. Iraq was attacked with the intention of destroying WMDs but there were no WMDs in Iraq.
The allocation of $70 billion on war spending is quite strange and cannot be justified. |
