Stalkers

Do you believe a stalker will always be a stalker? How do you deal with that? I have a stalker for the past two years who is a guy with a mental disability but not so bad that he cannot recognize right from wrong. His guardian basically do not care about the stalking, the guy has full access to the internet and do all kind of crazy things. Calling the police would be a waste of time because of his problem. Any suggestions?

RE: Stalkers

wow that seems an odd and uncomfrotable situation. Do you mean he is physically stalking you, or stalking you in a virtual sense? I think some stalkers are compulsive enough to be condemned to such an existence for the remainder of their lives, but the majority can be "cured" - they just need to be give something fulfilling to do with their time. Stalking is the best they can come up with if left to their own devices. A few months of sewing mail bags, collecting litter from the side of the highway or repairing railway lines might encourage them to change their ways?
