Is this right? Surely, men are not wired for this sort of thing and no matter how much scientific tampering his body undergoes it does not alter the fact that he is a man.

The story is true; however, it really is a woman. Thomas Beatie was, at one time, a beauty queen. "He" underwent a sex change operation but still retained his female internal organs and therefore, was able to conceive. I presume he had to tone down the testosterone in order to conceive. I forget who the father was. Thomas is "married" to a woman. Thomas has since delivered the baby, a girl. I wonder what happens when they try to give the child's family history. "I don't know about my father's side," says the child. "But isn't Thomas your father?" asks the doctor. "No, that's my mother."
